I found a new restaurant last week. It's called Moe's, a southwestern grill get in/get out quick type of place. The food is incredible! I ate there 4 days in a row. I can't necessarily say I was pleasant to be around by late Friday though, imagine if you will, veggie burritos... everyday....for four days. My eyes still tear up when I think about it.
Congrats to the Cubbies!!! I'm real glad you made it, now I just hope Atlanta cracks your ass. I really would like to see the Braves take it all the way this year. October, the absolute best month of the year: football, baseball side by side, not to mention the weather.
Are rubberband wars in the office a sign of a failing economy or just a vast left wing conspiracy?
We've been having these brutal elastic battles for the past week. Everybody from the president of the company on down has been targeted, no one is safe. I know there are mothers worldwide who may eventually read this and collectively say "you're gonna put out an eye!" but it's been fun. We're even getting to the point of building WMD's (weapons of minimal distraction). So far I've built a "stinger" which is a paper clip bent into a delta-winged projectile, and uses the latest in propulsion technology.... a big rubberband. Also, a "dart" which I consider an amazing feat of office product re-engineering prowess. You take a straight pin, a posty note and an eraser put them all together and come up with an instrument of pain. You can actually shoot the thing into your co-worker at 20 feet. I pride myself on my distractions.
On a side note... I've sold my 1000th (since I've been counting) photograph last week! I'm pretty jazzed.
