I recently began mixing marble dust with acrylic to improve its opacity and add body and texture. The depth of the texture is kind of difficult to see in the photo of the framed piece (the one up top with Mabel), maybe the image below is a better example:

Something else to point out: The iPhone is NOT the camera I should be shooting artwork with. The difference in image quality is night and day!
